Hi, My name is Heather
I'm the breeder behind Double H Australian Shepherds located in Fallon, NV. I fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence and personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that I do!
Explain a little bit more about yourself.
Hey there! My name is Heather and I reside in the beautiful Fallon Nevada. I raise my Australian Shepherds on a small ranch where we have cattle, horses, sheep and goats. A majority of my time is spent with my dogs and volunteering and coaching 4-H and FFA youth with their livestock projects as it is one of my biggest life passions.
How did you get into breeding?
I have always loved the Australian Shepherd breed and wanted one from a young age. While I was studying in my veterinary internship in North Dakota I had the opportunity to take home my first Australian Shepherd. I always knew I wanted to have more and started learning about breeding, health and genetics. It quickly became a passion for me!
What makes your breeding program special?
Our dogs are each treated as family, they live great spoiled lives running and playing on the ranch each day. We are special because of how much mind we pay to each and every dog we own including puppies born here. Our puppies are always socialized very well and exposed to new life experiences.
