Double H Australian Shepherds wants our quality puppies to go to loving homes, where they will be lifelong companions to work, play, and be loyal family members. From all of us at Double H Australian Shepherds we do ask that you do the research on any breed of puppy you may be interested in. Make sure it is the type of dog that will fit into your lifestyle, living accommodations, and family.
Go Home Date
8 weeks
Puppies need time to nurse, grow and develop with their mother and littermates before they can join their new families. A newborn puppy should stay with their breeder, mom, and siblings as they develop physically and gain new social skills alongside their brothers and sisters. The age a puppy can go home depends on the breed, and even the individual, but generally is around two months.
Pickup and drop-off options
We are located in Fallon NV but we have past puppies all over the United States! From Alaska to Maine and many states in-between
Double H Australian Shepherds has the following options available for getting your new puppy home:
Visit the breeder in person to pick up in Fallon, NV.
Breeder transports by car to surrounding states occasionally
Meet the breeder at Salt Lake City International Airport or Reno/Tahoe International Airport.
HEALTH GUARANTEE
We guarantee in writing that your new puppy is free from genetic defects for a period of 12 months. If your puppy were to develop any problems caused by genetics, we will replace that puppy with one of like sex, and color at the first available breeding. No money will be refunded. Any claim of a defect must be accompanied with written proof from a licensed veterinarian. They will also come with a certificate of health from our veterinarian. All our puppies and adults are on a very strict medical program including vaccinations, preventative shots, scheduled de-worming, heart worm preventative, parasite control, vitamins, high quality-high protein dog food, and are microchipped.
Hips - Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbows - Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eyes - Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impaired vision or blindness.
Genetics - Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Deposit is nonrefundable. Puppy must be picked up no later than DATE.
By placing a deposit you agree to pay the balance by DATE. In the event that chosen puppy becomes ill, or dies the deposit will be returned, or choice of available puppy will be offered.
The Seller reserves the right to void this transaction and refund the deposit if we learn of any reason why Buyer might not be suitable for the puppy ( i.e. Buyer is found to be an animal abuser, violent person, representative of a Pet Store, representative of a pharmaceutical research laboratory etc.) .
By signing below, Buyer states that he/she has read the aforementioned Deposit Contract and is in complete agreement. Buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully.

Registration Status: LIMITED This dog shall not be used for breeding; this dog is being sold as a pet. Dogs sold on a limited basis agree to spay/neuter dog by 24 months of age.
Double H Australian Shepherds will submit and pay for the registration papers for the BUYER. The registration papers will be mailed from American Stock Dog Registry to the address above once complete. The BUYER must let Double H Australian Shepherds know the name they wish to register the puppy within 30 days of pick up.
BUYERS AGREEMENT:
• I agree that the puppy is being bought for myself and will not be sold, adopted, or given to another party.
• I agree that this dog is never to be kept regularly chained.
• I agree to care for the puppy in a humane manner and be a responsible animal guardian. This includes supplying a high-quality food, water, shelter, attention and necessary veterinary medical care.
• I agree that if any point I cannot keep the dog, for ANY reason and must surrender the dog to a shelter or rescue, that the dog MUST be returned to Double H Australian Shepherds. No refund will be given.
• I understand that Double H Australian Shepherds makes no guarantees about the puppy’s temperament and is not responsible for future damages caused by the dog.
• I give Double H Australian Shepherds permission to contact me at my listed contact number to assure that the puppy is being properly treated and cared for.
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
Buyer agrees to have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days following purchase/pick up date to validate the Health Certificate.
BUYER AGREES TO FORWARD A COPY OF VETS REPORT WITHIN ONE (1) WEEK OF PURCHASE.
• Double H Australian Shepherds guarantees that should this puppy be found in ill health at the required veterinarian health check-up (no more than 3 business days after pick up) the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Breeder, that this dog may, upon written diagnosis from a veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for full refund of purchase price if a copy of the vet report is furnished to the seller within 24 business hours of exam by email.
• Double H Australian Shepherds guarantees up to 12 months for congenital defects. Dog may, upon written diagnosis from a veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for full refund of purchase price if stipulations listed below are met.
• Double H Australian Shepherds guarantees up to 26 months for hip dysplasia that this dog may, upon written diagnosis from a veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for full refund of purchase price if stipulations listed below are met.
• Breeder reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost within 10 business days prior to any refunding transaction.
• Defects that this dog may, upon written diagnosis from a veterinarian, be returned to the Seller for full refund of purchase price if the following is furnished to the seller:
Should the buyer need to utilize this guarantee the Buyer must provide the seller the following information.
- Copies of vet reports
- Copies of all testing
- All radiography should be identifiable in the film emulsion with the name of the puppy and the name of the veterinarian.
- All radiography and report must meet OFA standards submission requirements.
- The seller must be notified within (2) business days of licensed veterinarian diagnosis and have (2) reports from (2) separate veterinarian clinics stating the same problem.
BREACH OF AGREEMENT: Buyer shall be deemed in breach of this agreement for any of the following actions: (if this contract is breached by the Buyer, then Seller has the right to repossess this dog)
• Buyer does not spay/neuter dogs sold on a limited basis by age 24 months.
• Buyer allows dog sold on a limited contract to be bred at any time regardless of situation
• Buyer fails to properly care for this dog as set forth herein.
This contract is binding only between the listed parties and no part of this agreement is transferable to any other party. All parties undersigned agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE ABOVE CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSSED OR IMPLIED.
